Don't snap photos of your buddy's - go buy this book, support the guy who has painstakingly put together this wonderful guide. Almost every of the 300+ page book has a photo showing crags, topos from various viewing angles etc. Clear demarcation and arrows indicating direction, climbing areas, numberings to differentiate different climbs in the same area. It is one of the better guides I have seen around the world. Index for quick finds of favorite climbs or to mark up your dream projects. I love the good size font an easy-to-read font type - no squinting! Only comment is beginner climbers could use a little more descriptive language in the illustration of the climbs. Overall, a well deserving guide for what it is asking for. Well done, Jordan.*I've attached two photos of my book. I used a recycled cellophane gift wrap to protect my new book (you'll spot others having the same book at the crag so I found my happy wrapper helps differentiate quickly)
Buy this book. Buy this book if you love sport climbing. Buy this book if you don't know what sport climbing even is! Bottom line... this beats the crappy film that may come up when searching for this long awaited gem. When not using it to send hard at NJC, I use it to be enthralled with psych kept at top levels while ripping #2s in the bathroom. Thanks a ton to Jordan for doing a thing that I always wanted to do... dreamt about doing...but lacked the Steeze and fortitude. Dang...he undertook some BIZZZNESSS. solid effort.
Pretty good guide for a place where I love to climb. It has actual color photos with the routes drawn in, shoing number & placement of bolts, top anchor location, and length of climb. Much better than the old guide I have that only has drawings-very confusing. Has a quick comment on each climb, an idex, and routes by rating. Thanks for taking the time to make this guide!!!
Updated and extremely thorough guide of New Jack City. Great pictures and descriptions that clearly show where climbs are, so you have no doubt you're climbing. Highly recommended.
